Central Coast Land Conservancy

The Central Coast Land Conservancy is making a promise to our children and grandchildren that the wild spaces and natural heritage of Oregon’s Central Coast will be passed onto them protected.

As we develop our cities and grow our economy, we need to set aside natural areas and working landscapes so that our grandchildren will find the Central Coast a great place to live.

Many landowners want to permanently protect their own lands from inappropriate development. Yet, they often lack necessary knowledge and/or a financial partner.

The Central Coast Land Conservancy aims to fill that gap, with a focus on Tillamook, Lincoln, and western Lane Counties.

Our projects are found in spruce, hemlock and Doug fir forests, estuarine and tidal salt marshes, and coastal wetlands and floodplains.

Securing and permanently stewarding lands is hard work. It takes a lot of time, a lot of money, a lot of tenacity, and a lot of people.
